Absolutely not. There are no (modern) kits that are worth it - you’ll always just be the wanna-be. Now, an old Cobra kit car, or old Porsche speedster replica, those I don’t have an issue with.

Have you seen the abomination that is a Miata with a Z3 body kit and a GM engine?

I actually prefer the look of the Z4 from the passenger compartment forward. Now, if they could find some way to integrate just the rear of the Z8 with the front of the Z4, now we're talking!

Absolutely. If you’re starting with a damaged Z4 there’s not much value to lose, so why not? I love the Z8 so maybe I’m not the most impartial person.
